This is a beautiful little book that defies description. The best I can say is that it's naval history crossed with bonsai. It's a short book that notes - it doesn't explain or describe, but instead just notes - the beauty and the irony of the short-lived Japanese superbattleship Yamato. It looks like a well-designed book on Japanese gardening, but has as its subject a battleship.
It's weird, but it's a nice reflection.
