Thought I'd enjoy this "archaeological thriller" (my favorite genre) and I sure did. Surpringly, this is Adams' first book, but he writes well (the dialogue is not the stilted, exposition-heavy way that David Gibbons does it), I really like the characters, and the plotting is good. He lost me in a couple of spots, but overall it was good. Better than James Rollins, and almost right up there with Steve Berry. I highly recommend it.
