Star Trek TOS on HD: three episodes

The other night Grayson and I (and Collin & Parker most of way) watched three Star Trek HD episodes, The Galileo Seven, The Squire of Gothos, and Arena.  All were quite good - you really appreciate the acting job that Shatner and Nimoy do.  One surprise - I noticed that when Kirk is running around the desert back lot in Arena, he's not wearing his leather uniform boots - he's wearing some black boots that are lace-up on the front, like boxer's shoes.  I never noticed watching in ordinary def - my only guess is that given the wear & tear on the good uniform boots running around on the rocks, they subbed in some fabric shoes for those scenes.
