Latest toy from Levenger is a laptop stand (it was on sale) intended to allow working on a laptop while standing. The height doesn't work out real well on normal desk height, but on the slightly taller map table in the study, it's perfect. I just pull out the mouse pad, and steal the wireless mouse (which has a scroll wheel, whioch the laptop doesn't) and its USB connector from the study desktop and plug it in. I can work comfortably standing up, and have better control than when sitting using the touchpad.
