Jamie got this (and the companion book for women) on a recent girl's weekend with some friends (I think they'd read it in a church class) and I just finished it. It's a good book - you learn that women really do see things differently from men, and how to respond in a way that doesn't completely tick them off (I read the women's book too - well, parts of it anyway, but Jamie wouldn't let me highlight the really important parts). I had someone ask me how it differs from the Men Are From Mars book, and it's been a long, long time since I read that one, but what I noticed about this one was that it's based largely on the results of focus groups, which I think makes it a little less one person's opinion. There is more emphasis on the "right" answer based on empirical evidence, and not so much on defending an answer that is more a point of view (albeit one based on experience).
There's also a useful fold-out guide to women. Really.
