This is a 1944 documentary about life on a carrier in the Pacific in 1943-44, specifically the USS Yorktown (CV-10). I have had the video for fourteen years, but when I decided I wanted to watch it again a couple of weeks ago I went looking for the DVD and found it - for under $5. It was a good reproduction, given the age of the original, and I enjoyed watching it. Lots of terrific color footage of Essex-class carriers in action, and a glimpse of shipboard life, albeit through the eyes of a wartime documentary.
