I am finally getting around to posting on all the things that have happened around here since Christmas - hasn't been time this spring to post on anything but books. These are pictures from the Marshall Symphony League presentation tea, which we hosted at the house in February. had about 200 people (unusually large, but has to do with some attendance requirements). The cars lined up all almost all the way to the gate, and the place was packed fro a couple of hours.
Really was a lot of fun
, and it was nice to get the compliments on how nice the house looked. The girls being presented had already been out (they took their pictures for the ball by the piano or the stairs) but their families hadn't been out (female families, that is. I was the only male there, other than the guys running people back and forth to their cars in golf carts).
