The Walls of Constantinople: AD 324-1453

Just finished this outstanding book by Osprey on the land walls of Constantinople.  Coming right after finishing 1453 this was a very useful primer on the walls, with outstanding photos, and, most of all, paintings, diagrams and cutaways that showed how the walls were constructed and used.  There still isn't the overview of the crucial area where the Turks broke through in 1453 - but there are better pictures that I've seen elsewhere.
