Yep, that's Collin and Parker both going to bed playing with Chitty Chitty Bang Bang.  Collin has one of my old ones, and Parker has the vintage Corgi that I got a few years ago since my original was worn out.  They sat in the purple room tonight watching the movie, and insisted on reading their Chitty book before going to bed.

The Traveler - John Twelve Hawks

Downloaded this from eReader.com for my Palm last month to read on our train trip based on some glowing reviews.  It was creative and very well-written, but I ended up getting a little tired of the concept (I think I'm out of practice reading sci-fi) and near the end I realized that it was going to turn into a series, and that disappointed me.  I can understand not wanting to throw away this intricate world the author has created, but I'm really not in the mood for a "The Fugitive" clone, where our hero and heroine are running underground from the authorities.

Again, not a bad book at all - I just didn't care for it.
