Got this DVD set over a year ago and watched the extras, but hadn't had a chance to watch any of the movies till yesterday, when I watched my favorite of the three "Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade". Of course the quality is better on the DVDs, but I was a little surprised that the picture quality wasn't better. It may have been the focus on the projector or being too close to the screen, but the image never seemed to be very sharp. I did notice some camera shake (which I never had before) and well as a lot of focus problems with items in the forground, which may have also affected it. It may just be that it is now an older film, and the quality just isn't as sharp as I'm used to. But the movie is as good as ever - exciting and good performances by Ford and Sean Connery. The relationship between the two was fun to watch. The special effects were pretty dated - everything showed black outlines - but they got the job done. Overall, a good movie, and I'm glad they finally got it out on DVD. Now maybe I'll get aroudn to watching the other two.
