Another June Marshall patent verdict

Okay, I missed one - the week of June 4 Judge Payne had another patent trial - Cardsoft v. Verifone, 2:08cv98.  The jury found that two of the three defendants infringed the two asserted claims, that the claims weren't proven by clear and convincing evidence to be invalid, that none of the infringement was willful, and assesed damages at $13.14 million against VeriFone and $2.24 million against Hypercom (zero against Ingenico),  The jury also informed the parties that it was applying a $3 per unit royalty rate.
