A Tyler jury in Judge Leonard Davis' court went out to deliberate this morning shortly before noon in the Eolas v. Adobe case that's been in trial this week. I don't have the verdict form yet, but I understand that the jury found for the defendants on invalidity.
This is the first trial in Judge Davis' renovated courtroom, which features new deep blue carpet, a more flexible witness stand, and best of all, new monitors, including multiple jury box monitors (thus the projector and screen is now gone), and two very large wall-mounted monitors flanking the front of the gallery. It's not quite Cowboys Stadium, but it is getting there.
