Texas Lawyer's John Council today reported that Marshall's federal judge T. John Ward has announced that instead of sending a notice to President Obama that he will be taking senior status next October, he will instead be retiring from the bench entirely to resume the practice of law with his son Johnny Ward offices in Longview.
