The Board of Directors of the Texas chapter of the American Board of Trial Advocates (TexABOTA) has chosen U.S. District Judge T. John Ward of Marshall as its Jurist of the Year. This prestigious award is presented to jurists who have reputations for high ethics, fair play and supporting and preserving the .right to trial by jury. The award will be presented to Judge Ward at the TEX-ABOTA Annual Meeting which is being held October 23 and 24, 2009 in San Antonio, Texas.
I don't usually post pictures of the judges, but I ran across this one of Judge Ward with an old campaign poster for Judge Steger in the background (and a rifle, to boot) and couldn't pass it up.
